The park is open from sunrise to sunset, and admission is free. The four playgrounds are designed for different age groups, and the splash pad is a great place to cool off on a hot day. The picnic pavilions can be rented for private parties, and the sports fields can be used for organized games or casual pick-up games. The archeological displays include an ancient Indian burial ground dating between 600 and 900 A.D and a shell midden dating back to 1476 B.C. Together, they provide a fascinating glimpse into the history of the area. And the museum houses a collection of local artifacts.
